What design can do never ceases to amaze me. This is a rethink of the motorcycle. If you are going to change the fundamental drive, e.g. go electric, of a bike, why not take that moment to rethink the design, right?

If you’ve ever wished that your car could turn on a dime, then the folks at Rivian have just given you a reason to buy one of their EVs. The company posted a video on Dec 25th, spotted by Electrek, showing off how its R1T and R1S electric vehicles can make tank-turns. At least, if you buy the quad-motor version, which allows each wheel to be driven independently, giving you the ability to spin around on the spot.
This is an EV truck worth buying. No need to mess around waiting for Elon ‘Blunt’ Musk to figure out how to manufacture his beast. Rivian has been doing it, and in a very sensible way.
In terms of design, the Cybertruck is definitely polarizing, but in terms of performance and price, it’s downright frightening. This point becomes notable when one compares the Cybertruck with two of the most talked-about pickups in the market today: the up-and-coming luxury Rivian R1T and the aged veteran Ford F-150.
