Gardner is the West Coasts largest pool builder and outdoor remodeling company. They put in tens of thousands of pools a year in California, Oregon, and Nevada. They have gotten so large that they have established a network of contractors, builders, suppliers, and local project managers that help them deliver a large set of custom options and features for anybody looking to improve their time and space outdoors. This includes both residential, and commercial properties.
We were helping them with marketing campaigns, some advertising, and sales funnel activities, then they came to us with a different set of issues concerning how best to manage their active and growing network of pool builders. Where it was common for them to approve, supervise, and schedule jobs under the Gardner brand, there was very little or no technology involved. A lot of the requirements, forms, schedules, and tasks were all handled by local project managers with clipboards, and paper trails of activity.
We ended up creating a Gardner membership network portal for them and added it to their website. Common forms and specifications were centralized and automated under the portal. Regional project managers, sales staff, and customers could all login to see a schedule, job progress, status, approvals, and updates on supplies, materials, and staff. This was all put under the brand and designs we had created for them, and with the level of quality and timeliness their customers had come to expect.
